What did Jesus meant when He said “Take up your cross and follow me” (Matthew 16:24)?

Bible passages:
Matthew 16:21, Luke 9:23, Luke 14:27, Matthew 26:39, Matthew 19:21

Discussion:
Carry your cross and follow me means:
Total surrender to God,
Total commitment,
Humbleness before God.
Luke 9:23 Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.
Luke 14:27 And whoever does not carry their cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.
Take your cross and follow me, means Christians will be crucified. In Matthew 26:39 Jesus embrace God’s will.

Carry your cross means:
1. Take the inconvenience that comes with serving Him Matthew 19:21.
2. Embrace eternal life.
3. Total commitment to the will of God. Let the spiritual take control over the flesh.
4. Surrender under the will of God.
Cross symbolises negativity and involves the lust of the world. Jesus wants us to forsake every other things
    and focus on Him.

Praise God🙏🏽
