Is it OK for Christians to listen to worldly (secular) music or sing worldly (secular) music? Or dance to worldly (secular) music?

Firstly, we grouped music into worldly and unworldly.
Inorder to have a better understanding of music we need to know what it means?
Definition of music: music is sound that has been organized by using rhythm, melody or harmony. Tunes are made of notes that go up or down or stay on the same pitch. Music often has rhythm.
Music can be classified into into popular music and art music, or religious music and secular music.
Art music is being used in mental health field to relieve emotions.
Popular music is music appealing to the popular taste, including rock and pop and also soul, reggae, rap, and dance music. This music could be used to tell a story, abuse government or individual or teach certain good behaviour, it can also be used to promote culture.
Secular music is any music not written for the church.
Religious music: religious song - religious music for singing. church music, religious music - genre of music composed for performance as part of religious ceremonies.
Religious music can also be classified as divine as it’s composed by the inspiration of God.
Importance of music
Music can stimulate the mind. There are many things in music, to which one can listen and bring attention. Music can raise someone’s mood, get them excited, or make them calm and relaxed. Music also - and this is important - allows us to feel nearly or possibly all emotions that we experience in our lives.
Reverting back to worldly music - popular or secular music we agreed that some of those kind of music could be listened to, if the language is appropriate. Reference were made to cultural music that teaches certain behaviour to promote good morals. Such music could be listened to by Christians.
We discussed on how religious music has been taken for a joke or mockery as some comedians or certain cultural groups (masquerade) has started using the songs in their activities. As a Christian we should not be partaking in such act.
Music is a powerful tool used in shaping society. Christian should be mindful of what we listen to as our actions must glorify God.
Col3:16-17 stated that sings psalms and hymns with thankful heart to God. Be a representative of Christ. As a Christian we know the right thing because the Holy Spirit lives in us; therefore we should stay away from songs that we feed our mind that evil.
We should be mindful that music can capture our spirit easily; let us obey the spirit of God in us and do things in accordance to the Spirit of God.
